Full-time Overnight Emergency Housing Staff
Provide comprehensive and responsive hotline services for callers in need of emergency shelter and/or community-based services/referrals; collect accurate data and provide shift reports; support a clean and well-maintained facility. Facilitate social and wellness activities for residents and their children. Experience assessing emergencies and providing crisis support required, along with excellent communication skills and sensitivity to domestic violence. Bilingual/bicultural preferred.
Shifts include: Wednesdays 1-11pm, Thursdays 11pm-9am, Fridays 11pm-9am, and Saturdays 11pm-9am.
Harbor Communities Overcoming Violence (HarborCOV) is an innovative nonprofit organization that offers culturally relevant emergency and longer-term resources, and affordable housing for survivors of domestic violence and their children, while educating the public about the causes and consequences of domestic violence.
